Great work on this! Really digging the hand-painted textures and stylized geometry. Making the fence bars uneven really added character. Keeping your main light source static helped, too.
Horses have huge neck muscles to support their heavy heads. This guy has huge traps but a very tiny head. It might be too stylized? Should turn out really cool though!
So I tried this new approach on stylized tileable texture creation in ZBrush with the help of Fanny Vergne's Tutorial in Vertex Magazine and here are my first two results for Stoneplates and Wood Wood:
I did some rock exploration, with minor vegetation accented in there. Not a ton of stylization here, so that's something I'd like to push more before settling on any one design I think.
Looks great!I agree with first comment.. The fur can use some work, it looks very flat and since your char is not super stylized but has a sense of realism it feels unfinished. :)
Haha, I definate agree about the handle! The sprockets are simply flare. I pay no attention to functionality this time. All I want is a really cartoony and stylized sword ala Blizzard or something. ^^
the style of creases between the shirt and the trousers seems too inconsistent, the trouseres seem to have sharper, more stylized edges and creases but the shirt looks more realistic, looks nice overall though
I got this program early and thats what i use it for lately. I have my alphas and patterns for Ndo and even ref. pics for stylized painting..stuff like that. I like it.
Cool model!Looking at the high poly sculpt I feel the head would need more work...especially in the eyes/cheeks area...it seems a bit weird to me, even if it's a stylized character...:)
Some more progress. I refined some of the anatomy and designed/stylized some of it. Since most will be covered with clothes, I'll stop now and block them in and finalize face, torso and arms later.
