hey guys Im not sure whats going on here but when I try to turn my polypaint into a texture map in zbrush the image below is the result. the image underneath is the polypaint ive done. Any suggestions ??????
Yeah done it once before on the subtool but the projection of the polypaint was not good. I did redo it now, and its OK. Not good, not bad. Annoying that I cant polypaint....So strange!
with the 2020 release, one could add polypaint with the "A" toggle ON (brush settings, next to the RGB settings), to define the areas affected by a layer - and then creating a mask from the polypaint.
Is looks like polypaint. Turn off Mrgb/Rgb in the header menu or turn off colourise in the polypaint menu on the right. :) *edit*|MM| beat me to it. :P
something that looks really strange in comparison of the flat model with the polypainted one, is the fat below the supra orbital margin . it feels like you painted this weight only with polypaint but not in actual form
Polypaint uses vertice colors, not UVs. These means you'll want to polypaint the highpoly model in order to get the most detail out of it. Only the lowpoly model needs UVs.
Do you mean a bitmap texture or Polypaint? You can project Polypaint from the high onto the new low mesh but the UVs are destroyed when using zRemesher.
Hey guys so i just finished polypainting a new terroblade weapon that i am working on with Todestomate. So here I have finished the polypainting and have rendered out the textures
The layers in Zbrush 4 and up now support polypaint, so you can just create a layer specifically for your polypainting diffuse, spec etc. Not as flexible as photoshop, but gives you something similar atleast.
