Yes. But there is a light at the end of this tunnel. The second week in January all ones that didn't sell so well will be $20 at Best Buy. Last year I scooped up so many great games like a vulture after the lion of Christmas.
@ Kratos: Why so serious? You're wearing metallic lion's heads for boxing gloves for crying out loud. There's so much cheese in this trailer it makes me uncomfortable to watch it. Totally agree about the stabbing of innocent forest creatures too.
Oh wow those items are beautiful. I would say the lion is too front-heavy but that's just because the fur looks solid, can't really do much about that with a sculpt I suppose. Maybe just something to keep in mind.
I agree with what's been said, the lion and last shot are your weakest peices, I do think you put your best work first, which is good. But er.... What happened to her sword at the end of the first shot?
Doesn't fit the aesthetics of the game imo. Looks too out of place. Your double axe is a cool concept though. I like how the edges are swords being held. Too bad its a mouse instead of dragon or lion hehe
ok, I've never seen anyone quote this guys films on here..so we'll see how this goes over: (while lifting a chair to point the legs at a lion's face) "His mind now has been completely distracted from his original thought: 'Eat the man in the white pants.' "
Yup the jaw is too much. Forgot to get rid of some of the needless geometry. If I cant get most of this done within this week, I'll get the Lion smack dab in the middle... Peace gonna sleep an hour get back to work. Fun
well, traditional unicorns are more goat than horse, anyways. Today's kids think they're just horses with horns. really digging the concept. i'd like to see a beardy beard and larger fetlocks, personally. and definitely a tail - almost like a lions.
thanks! the pose is actually based off of a combination of a horse and lion's run with a fair bit of exaggeration. I wanted something that looked like she was in the middle of chasing down some prey. There are a few things I think I might tweak still
I really think you should give more attention to the brick that ends up being stretched horizontally. Give the lion head less space and maybe do the same with the engraving of the woman. more space for the pads like suprore said too.
