It seems to put Custom Smart Materials there too Roaming > preset > Smart Material > Custom however when your in User... even if you don't see the AppData folder, you can still access it by typing \AppData in the bar and it will let you continue in the folder.
Yeah I do the double res thing too for ao. Also go into the task manager and set xnormal priority to low, then it won't bog your system down and you can continue working on other stuff, so the render time is less of an issue.
Made the tail a bit bigger, added the toe nails and shoecloth, next up is to change his calfs a bit and add his pants. (also need to add eyes obviously make the ears bigger, make hands, continue backpack and make a weapons and mount.
I've been working on the HP of a M48 tomahawk to continue my Max practice but I decided to come back to the combat knife for a bit. I just finished my bake Retopo, Uv & bake took around 4 hours comments and crits are welcomed :)
I'd like to just continue sculpting in details and variations after I have my initial brick layout, dropped and tilded around. But the best way is projecting a grabbed displacement map over a new plane would get me back into sculpting mode?
All I know is the market for watching people play games is growing faster than the market of selling games to people. While I don't think that will continue to the scale that watching people play will be worth more than the games, it's kind of an interesting shift in the industry.

An epic fantasy NOT set in New Zealand you say? :poly115: I never finished the reading the books. Read until a little bit into A Storm of Swords and lost interest. It's a good series but there weren't many characters I cared enough about to continue reading.
