Use Color > Prelight Maya. I like to use volume lights when I just need an area of color and no light direction. It has a fall off from the center by default, you can change this.
Looking better Keen. And yea, tweaking camera settings such as FOV is pretty easy in UE3. You could even drop in a custom camera actor and look through that and not mess up the default cams. Keep it coming!
Sure you don't have Selection Lock on? (The little padlock icon near the centre of the toolbar at the bottom of the screen). Default key for that is Space so it seems likely you might have hit that then saved the file.
Hello so I've made a .py script for Maya that listen for the operation of polySplit and after the node was created if the Crease Set Editor is opened and you have a set selected will automatically add the newly created edges to that crease set. I want to take a screenshot while 3ds max11 is open.I seen in fraps you can assign a button to take a screenshot but 3ds max11 seems to have all there buttons filled up and i dont want to mess with its defaults. Any suggestions?
Per title, what are the modern replacements for these old scripts to work correctly with more modern 64bit Max versions? What skinning tools are being used other than the default? Also, anyone tried this? http://www.raylightgames.com/xrayblendskin/XrayBlendSkin.html
when you export manually it remembers the setting each time the fbx dialog pops up i think the noprompt has the same process but just presses OK by default when a dialog wants to popup
That comparison is retarded? Im sorry but if your are going to make a comparison between engines you cant just leave the defaults on and expect a fair result. Just compare the features in the documentation if you want a fair comparison.
