Pretty nice detailing of the body. I will be more careful about the main shape. I will give more a S curve to the body. The upper torso should point slightly up (around 75 degrees), when the hips should point toward the bottom slightly (around 110 degrees).
wow, thanks for all the comments guys! I swapped out the kinston SSD for a crucial one (256gb) as it was about £75.I also upped to an i7 and upped the graphics card anyway. Switched out the noctua cooler for the one recommended too. Thanks for all your help again!
More updates! Worked on the armor/cloth/fur. Almost 75% done the high poly, but I want to finish it regardless. Touched a little on the face, but it's still very janked up. Still miles to go, but it's so much fun! :D Thanks for checking it out, and feedback is always appreciated!
Hey thanks guys for those suggestions, I will look into them. It may actually be the focal length of the camera, but I will see to make sure. @passerby: The matcap, in case you're interested, is dj_mutation for pixologic's material library, with framer01 overlayed on top of it in Photoshop with 75% opacity to bring out the…
You need to learn to frame your shots. Your first image is like 75 water. Zoom in so it take up the full space. Same with your tank. Do you have any high poly/baked normal maps applied to these objects? or is everything just modeled?
yeah, he was 75 I beleive, possibly older, and was stabbed several times in his home. He was a great artist, I really liked his paintings, usually he's compared to Giger, but I think Beksinski was much better. I really love his website too.
In the past, I've charged $400 for DS rez (below 500 triangles/128x128 texture). For 1500 Tri's 512x512 Textures I would charge around $3000 depending on the complexity. ($75/hour) $80 a day is below minimum wage where I'm from. Absolutely no chance that's 'Average' for a freelancer. :/
This comment fixed the launcher issue for me. https://www.cryengine.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=125&t=133563&sid=c63f0dd8c11d54d5e7d07f14c05298d2&start=75 "Finally got this fixed, if you still have the issue go to Users/yourusername/AppData/Local and delete the CryEngine Launcher folder, it launches fine after that "
I feel like the poll would be stronger if it allowed 2 options especially considering how heavy zbrush is in character art pipelines. I normally spend probably 75% of time in zbrush sculpting and use maya (LT) for blockout/retop, hardsurface when needed, UV's and export for clients.
This is a major upgrade, yes. The upgrade is $75 for the Indie license, and we also have a special upgrade to Substance Live (which includes all our tools and Substance Source), where you only pay $9.90/month for 6 months if you already have a Substance Designer 5 license.
