thanks @iam717 that's one of my favorites so far. Fabian has made some improvements for the Persian hero. My original model is on the left for comparison. And some more polish on the Nubian hero as well. The Nubian will be the playable character for the Steam NextFest demo that I try to have ready at October. If I don't…
Bioware needs warm bodies to huddle in Canada. The Senior Creative Director Alistair McNally has tweeted out a call for folks to come join the Dragon Age team up in the balmy land of Edmonton. ...At least they got a NHL team there.
Yes. If you're not using a plug in that lets you manipulate and generate curves, and/or creative polystrips from curves, you should look into that for the hait workflow. Xgen (maya), Geo to Curve (modo) plugin, etc.
This thread makes me wanna try to make an environment. But it's overwhelming and I have no clue how to start, so I'll keep with characters :) Love creativity and love put in the textures! Looking forward to the updates.
Plus, if they DO buy the Foundry and add MODO to the Creative Cloud subscription I'd do backflips. Work already pays for that so I could stop buying MODO upgrades every year. Hooray! :)
This guy looks like a lot of fun! really cool. Front arm pose is really cool... and the counter weight tails. Upper vs Lower teeth is cool/creative. Look forward to updates and driver.
Bah, I'll never get why polycount seems to have a general disdain for nintendo. ARMS is a really beautiful game, with the most creative character design i've seen out of a new IP in ages.
That Trailer Trailer had BAWWWWNNNGGGGGSS and People-Jumping-Down-while-Bending-at-the-knees!! Looks really pretty, even though they were not interested in being creative with the trailer trailer. see you at the party richter!!!!!
Your getting better dude, I really like the Rango painting. The main thing is your constantly doing art and in time you will see even greater results. Keep it up and stay creative! :)
I realy like your wooden gun, very creative design and nice shapes :) If you push your material definitions a little bit further, you have a nice piece of gameart
