HEY !!! Not taking sides. Just saw this while doing the daily trawl for free Internet Naledge c/o for-profit school Full $ail (but it's FREE!) [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lp09SC9BZ1Y"]Demo Reel Tips with Sony's Ken Maruyama - YouTube[/ame]
Try HDRshop, not free for commercial use though. EDIT: CubeMapGen might come in handy too. EDIT2: Might as well mention this from the free apps thread since it's sort of related: EDIT3: Eric Chadwick also mentions a way to do it using Max in this tutorial.
Had some free time, and I'm really enjoying using Zbrush, gave a face model another go, but I keep getting stuck on the mouth :/ and looking at it now I realise I need to fix lots of things. Feel free to offer comments and crits.
I am really not interested in this. I cant believe a company would copy an art style and expect no one to care... and the whole play for free thing is a load. What ive been hearing is that ya to play it will be free, but the fun content will be available through micro payments...
I just downloaded musagi after reading a bit about it in a recent tigsource post. Haven't really made my way around the interface properly, but it seems pretty full-featured for what it is, and it's completely free (Reaper is $50 for non-commercial, $225 for commercial, and not free).
hi levus.. cool stuff here (even if i´m again not a fan of your folds´n wrinkles :p ) i´m very curious how this game will run will there be a free demo access maybe?! or is it free?.. i´m not sure while reading the webpage
Good idea re free parking. Anuxi will be at TI3 all day, every day from open until midnight doing the valve thing! I won't be able to do the 10th until the late afternoon, around 3:30 - 3:45 ish but sunday is totally free.
http://autodesk.blogs.com/between_the_lines/2018/04/sketchbook-is-now-free.html As always, there is next to the ID another catch; the enterprise licence will still cost money which means that "Free" is not "free", when you want to use this program in a studio, the studio has to buy the Enterprice licence subscription(s).
Yeah, deferred rendering seems to help when you go from 2 to >2 lights, but the second light always seems to cost an extra drawcall per material/skinned mesh, and then additional lights after that are free. Not ideal, but at least makes the 3rd light in the scene above free!
Might be missing some sarcasm but I buy CDs still. Spotify is ripping off artists, you need millions of plays to make a living. Support music, buy it. I don't want people playing my games for free so I'm not going to listen to music for free.
