Ok, starting from the old... I was right into game art, 3d and 2d/sketching and painting, then left it all for a few years only to get back into last year. Here we go anyway.
Came back, because I needed a good boost of good work in my system. I struggle to even call them sketches cause these all seem like finished pieces to me. haha.
I don't have much time for drawing recently, so I'm mostly doing quick sketches for practice, here are few that came out nicely. I'm mostly working now on composition/poses.
Dosnt look very much like a hammer, and the design itself is very weak as well, Id really look at some reference and try out some sketches before diving into any more modelling.
Here is an advanced color sketch. I kind of got sucked into it, and mainly was trying to figure out basic color and overall composition, as well as story. There is lots that I'll refine and change throughout the process still.
Not really sure what one I like the most, apart from in actual sketching ability. I want something feminine as she/he looks in the mirror. And Leblanc strikes me as a poser. :P
So I've done a rough sketch of my idea. I'm still not sure if it's the right way where to go.. I'd love to add some more props and details but somehow I'm out of ideas :/
trying to figure out what to do with his upper claws. Feedback? (forgive the terrible sketches, didnt wanna spend a huge amount of time on them trying to make them look super nice)
A cleaner, re-jigged sketch of the shot. some quick lineart thrown on. I got busy with a friend in town so i had to put this on hold but hopefully this weekend i'll get another crack at it.
