model And here we go. I uploaded on Sketchfab. You can look some shots done with Marmoset toolbag in my Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/6Gmwr
Update Worked on low poly version and baked normal map. Bring model for painting height details in Substance Painter. Here current shots from Marmoset Toolbag.
Thanks, the picture from the Marmoset site looks really good. Can't wait to see more. btw: it actually was Snefer's garden thread that reminded me of this thread. :D
This is just caused by a mismatch in the way your 3d software triangulates vs how Marmoset triangulates the mesh. You can export your mesh triangulated to fix this issue.
Brought it into substance painter to create the other maps and refine the color map a bit further Here it is in Marmoset, I wanted to get an idea of what the textures will look like
I had it in there, but marmoset didn't like the transparency. Here's a screenshot without hitting the render output Thanks for the comments so far, still working on tweaking the spec map
Stopping by to post a new image. This is of an art test I took recently. It's fairly high poly because they asked it to be. It was built in maya, rendered in marmoset and also imported to cryengine.
Try putting it into Marmoset, its quick and painless and good for previewing stuff. The handle seems flat, and so does the detail in the middle of the axe, work on the bump/normal map for that.
I haven't updated this for a while, but now texturing is pretty much done. Crits and comments are welcome! Marmoset 1 shots: turntable: http://imageshack.com/a/img850/8794/bgd.gif
