Calling this one done ! I finally added more dressing like books, clothes on the ground etc ... It was a really fun project to work on but I'm glad it's finished considering the amount of time I've spent on it :>.
Redoing after an undo is the one, like in any normal app :P It would be good to be able to chose the Amount of Undos too, If you have enough memory you could enjoy of more undo's.
yea push can potentially warp it a little bit....the smaller the amount the less it should do it though. Just make sure that the face (or faces) that correspond to that area are as parallel to the the low poly mesh as possible.
flats of the textures whould be nice, too - it looks like you're using a minimal amount of texture space, which is good - but if that's not the case then there's some pretty significant problems. Kill that distance fog and push the lighting!
This is some fun Prof Layton style business here Jess! Model looks great. Watch the amount of splits on the low poly tires. You might want to spend a few more on the silhouette with those.
Haha no worries :D you should take some time and get in to the new DDO, it will save you huge amounts of time in the end, the new masking system (among other things) is simply awesome! :)
Love the amount of ref you gathered, the best part is they all seem to be variations created by different people so itll help you with proportions and what not :) Looking forward to seeing this unfold good luck:)
You could make the thumbs bigger, thats what I did to compensate for the low amount of work I had. I think its fine the way it is now though, huge improvement on the original
haha i blame my lack of comprehension on the amount off coffee i just drank i thought funcom recently expanded? first Grin and now this... hard times for the scandinavian game companies.
Here is my second pass on the concrete tiles substance. Mainly refined edge wear and cracks, added some grass and added some variables to control tile amount crack placement and grass placement.
