I've gotten copies of both the games I've worked on. They would be given to us by the publisher. We'd get a bunch of PS2 versions, and some GC and XBox ones. The producer would then ask us to choose 2 versions we would like and then we would get one.
Yep you're right, just getting confused. Only problem is that tutorial is from an older zbrush where you can click on col>txr to throw the polypaint onto a texture map. In zbrush3.5 I use 'new from polypaint' in texture menu but there is no option to export it as a PSD?
No probs - probably one of the most underused but probably coolest things in photoshop. BTW - Fogs brush links have been updated, also might be worth noting (for paupers like me on CS3 still) that his are CS4 . DL link http://fogmann.com/downloads/brushes/bn_omasplates_psBrushes.zip
My friend already has those, however, it was on the PS3. no wait it was just a fan blowing cold air nm /edit... I want to have a dream recorder, my dreams are awesome everynight (almost) and I would make millions if i can find a audience :P
Here are some environments: http://www.eurogamer.net/videos/digitalfoundry-final-fantasy-xiii-environments-study Some of them look pretty, but when you look at the edges of everything it's all very boxy. Near the end of the video @ 1:40 it looks like FFX graphics on PS2...
How easy is it to screengrab or render out video from UT3? If I were doing this I'd setup my 3D software's rendered to emulate PSP, nothing complex going on there anyway, you shorten your pipeline A LOT, and get to concentrate on the aesthetics instead. Why Machinima?
Yup Blocked is really rad. Though its rather expensive, Real Racing does a really good job of showing off what the iPhone can do, at least in term of 3d. And it controls incredibly well, far better than any racing game on DS or PSP.
Hey Vito, I think this might be kinda what you're looking for. This is one of the best primers on some of the core things on learning to draw well, from imagination or otherwise. http://www.itchstudios.com/psg/art_tut.htm been very helpful to me, always wish i'd seen it earlier.
Sounds bizarre. I can't verify since I don't use CS4. Do you have the latest NVIDIA dds plugin installed? If it still happens, you could try searching and/or posting on the NVIDIA developer forum. http://developer.nvidia.com/forums/index.php?showforum=9
Sitting above the vehicle is an animation problem, got nothing to do with Karma. Move your root bone down so the character sits on the ground. The PSK doesn't include the karma data, that's stored in the KA. Did you even make custom Karma data for your skeleton?
