I tried an earlier beta event but I wasn't really having much fun as I only played for about an hour. Admittedly, I know very little about MMOs and I'm not sure if things would pick up later, but I'm hoping to try the game again when it gets released as it seems like it could be fun. -

Yeah. Once you've created something the fun sort of goes away since you've done your aim. Starting fresh would be fun. Also having a tidy spawn would be nice XD Hell perhaps with a fresh start everyone could put their efforts into one big project. Like a recreation of Helms Deep (cliche) etc etc. -

There were some nice, fun nods to the 1990 movie (without being obnoxious in-your-face). Visually the movie was pretty fantastic; I especially enjoyed the look of the Colony. Lots of action set pieces, pretty fun ride. It however managed to be even less cerebral than the Arnie movie. Which is a bit sad, when you think… -

Also you have to realise that people can tell the difference between real life and fictional video games. Also games with good gameplay can be fun, and from my understanding, people enjoy fun. I agree that it can be used as a way to vent. For example you can't get road rage if you're listening to angry music in the car. -

The tech is incredible. Just amazing. He has focused down on what is important to make a really exciting game and delivered big time. The gameplay. . . I'm not so sure. There is definitely something fun out there for tech like this that allows' on-the-fly modification. Voxelstein 3D comes to mind. I'm not sure what the fun… -

I don't think you'll ever get with a CRT the fun and mess that is NTSC on a TV... reds bleed like crazy, interlacing does funny mojo (assuming your game is rendering 60fps), the fun that is moire, etc. I wonder if UK uses PAL though. Might be easier, never worked with it. Something like 25 fps, no interlacing? -

good deal man, dig the colors on the detailing. only comment is that the spaghetti strap style tank seems anachronistic since everything else seems to point to a semi-historical/fantasy getup... might be cool to see a different approach. fun stuff either way, and get that sixfatninjas-style site up, that kind of stuff is… -
