I learned that Google offers free 1TB Google Drive Storage if you write reviews, answer questions, or upload photos for a total of 200 times with their local guides program. I already like to write reviews and had a decent number of points to start with, don't mind doing a bit of work to save $10 a month. Still $2 a moth… -

Oh and i'm around 10K triangles for the whole Diorama... I know it's a bit much for a cartoon environment, but well... There are 3 levels, at 360° with cliffs and rocks :P I still can gain some backfaces and optimisations, but with the fine details (see my last message), I should stay around 10K :) -

In terms of organic sub-d vs. hardsurface there are many differences, but perhaps the more important workflow difference with this specific enviro is the one that arises out of your choice to use unique-prop/modular-instances or tiled texture sets and trims, because that will determine most of your workflow and how much… -

why go for the 500 over the 400, the extra features sound like gamer bullshit. the form is the same on both and 3600 dpi is more than enough for 3d. -

i know it's dead... i know no free way to do what you said, even if i want to make a game for XBOX-360, i would need to buy a developer subscription for that, or i need to develop for the pc/mac and play with the joystick, i don't want that, i want to develop for a console. -

So you're saying artists should work 365 days a year? I'm sure they are very bad artists when they want to rest a bit from their work. For some people their lives aren't orbiting around art. -

just finished this the other day on 360, pretty fun. gets a bit repetitive and a bit simple gameplay wise, but always satisfying to snipe and see that killcam. -

I'm excited for them. The PS3/360 generation has went on too long so I'm really looking forward to what next gen has to offer. There's quite a few games I'm interested in (i.e Knack, Killer Instinct, Infamous SS etc). Wish I could go out and pre-order one right now but I have no job. :(
