Wow, what a finale! I hope its picked up for another season. Especially with the cliff hangar we were left with. But the lack of response/enthusiasm here has me shaking my head. Good acting, good stories. If you get past the low budget for "sci-fi" items. It really stands out.
Progress on this guy. Almost done really. I just have to tweak some textures a bit more and finish some secondary items. after he's done I will get started on either another character or pick up the detective character again. That and I really want to get back into the habit of practicing my painting.
Guess to try and get more life out of the challenge and have a broader range of items to model. Guess having different threads you can see who picking the object Although it only been the same group that been participating so having it all here might make more sense Commandor: Looking a-lot better
skimmed those 2 articles and didnt really see an issue besides the perfomance on pc stuff. then decided to dip my toes into the comments sections and bathed luxuriously in a sea of crybaby tears, imagining how something so trivial as optional paid items can actually ruin someones day. god i love the internet.
cool, i have had nearly every issue imaginable with RTT ovr the years, so yeah pleased it worked. I kind of guessed it was something like this after you mentioned that one of the items rendered out. Odd though I thought reset xform would have worked. attaching to a box is really common.
Kid.In.The.Dark - Hey thanks a lot! Does the stone feel finessed now? See below. To answer your question it a matter of a mortar set of nodes and stone set of nodes and blending them together with a Blend node  Did a stone variety and color pass. Still need to do gloss/roughness and some other polish items.
I loved playing Future Soldier, and I'm inclined to think it will have similar gameplay (aside from the badass 3D menu items of course). It's a shame that in the hands of an immature crowd the PvP could become annoying, but that's to be determined. Either way I don't see that as any kind of deterrent, looking forward to…
I would post some pictures of my before/after level design/scenes but I've lost most of those 4 or 5 year old images. I do however have images of my progression with modeling through TF2 items over the year though. January 2010 July 2010 October 2010
So, can anybody tell me if its anything at all like the old 2d ones in terms of character progression? i.e. leveling up, new items and experience etc? If it is, just in a 3d god of war style world, I think I may have to have a walk down town after work tomorrow...
[ QUOTE ] Yeah, I grabbed the original WoW CE and used it for myself. Fuck selling it! I have an awesome mini-diablo, zergling, or panda for each of my characters. [/ QUOTE ] Because character transfer sends all items along with the character. My wife's (non collectors edition) account has mage with a panda now.
