you should be able to make changes in the editable poly section below the skin modifier really. also, you can insert an edit poly modifier into the stack and do the changes in there. a better workflow in general in my opinion is to keep your skinned mesh as it is and use it as a skinning proxy from then on. then create a… -

Yeah, if you select RROD (3 lights), the cost goes to $0. Unfortunately for me, mine doesn't have video (only sound). No red LEDs. I was able to get mine running via an online trick. I had to wrap my xbox with a towel, to overheat it. Eventually, it goes to 2 LEDs and the fans go absolutely nuts. Shut it down, let it cool… -

One way is to tediously clean up the model, vert by vert, making sure each edge loop has a smooth flow. For example, yesterday I was UV'ing a glove, and scaled all of the UVs very nice and clean. I'd reccomend morph targets...probably easier to wrap your head around for a newbie. Whether you use a set of morph targets, or a skeletal rig, you'll be doing basically the same thing...keyframing a series of poses or mouth shapes for phonemes. Setting up sliders is just a more convenient way to keyframe the morph targets… -

I dont think the texture needs to be smoothed in any way. The main disadvantages of it are: - Inconsistent lighting: u've got the lower body in shade - but the upper body not in light.
