It depends what you mean by inconsistencies. A screenshot or two would really help. Not Maya, but I used Shader FX in Max to solve the same issue when working with Unity. Shader FX ships with Maya too. http://ericchadwick.com/img/robot_rising.html#utility_shader
I'll ask spacemonkey if he will be available, he loves the spicy chicken! :) Also, don't larolaro and Ani live in London? They should come too :D danshewan: Tully has also expressed an interest in coming along, so put me down for two.
Looks great Alex, but two things bug me. One: the dark water stained bricks. Seems too even. Another thing are the bottles. They stick out because they are reflecting a blue light when they'd look better reflecting a warm light (or the scene).
Looks much better, good job! That stroke/fold in the middle-left needs to blend a little more, right now it is clearly a stroke towards its end(the two little ones towards the bottom too). But very nice update, keep working it :D
me and my wife play all the lego games together. perfect for co-op. army of two was ok too. Red dead is a fav of hers to play together. Oh and crimson alliance is pretty fun. we bumrushed through that pretty quick though.
its happened on two projects now and yep the files have been saved as .psb which i didn't notice tbh - the textures are 8k each so not huge but not small either. Its not too much of a fuss to save manually but it'd be nice if it worked :)
Turned out nice. You should leave more space on top of the image tho, and the background light gradient could point more towards the face, currently I feel more drawn to the center as a cause of these two things. Reminds me to finish the series..
Ah I see now, what I thought was iron oxidization was actually sand trapped between the ring and the glass. I would still make the glass and silver two separate objects, probably the sand too. Depending on if you're going for a photorealistic copy.
This char is looking great, I love the proportions! But there are two things that still annoying me... -Her neck looks a little too long -Her face still looking masculine in my opinion...maybe some work on her chin would help
Quaggs: Thanks for the info on the CTA pass, thats exactly what i was hoping it would be. Anoon: Awesome stuff, nightlife stuff would be great to hear too. Not really into clubs or that sort of stuff, but a semi-classy bar or two would be great to know about.
