Yes, you have to create an account on crydev.net. You need your CryDev account in order to use the Free SDK.... does that mean i have to be online to even start the damn thing? :P Cos I've got no net at home atm... -

15 million people paying each month? ha! im guessing ACTIVE accounts is probably half that number. which is still alot. but still. your account NEVER gets deleted, thats why they can advertise so many people "playing" their game. -

roughness is an average over an area so there's no correct value for a surface without taking that into account. measuring roughess and translating it into something that matches your specular model is probably all but impossible as such - as a surface gets further away from the viewer, progressively larger changes in… -

Well, on the Battle.net, after you logon to the account, click where it says "Manage My Games: Go to Account Management." There, you will find a "Add a Game" button high-lighted in green. Click that and it will ask you to Activate a Game key, where you will enter the code. -

Compare what they're asking of you to how long it took you to make a model of a similar quality and level of detail. Account for time it takes to figure out how to make something that's new, and account for the time it would take to make additional changes/revisions if requested. -

an aside: imgur has this "limit" on its public account, though I think it still allows the really old images to still "exist" right? You just can't see or search for them in your account, if I'm not reading their terms of service incorrectly. Just noticed this today. :(
