Thanks for the great advice, gonna see if i can get the camera this weekend with the 2 lenses suggested. One last question if i may, how important is memory card speed? Is it only a factor when using video/continuous shooting?
WHAAAAT!!! How the heck did I miss this!? Hopefully they will get more of these cameras and continue the deal. Maybe around New Years. I saw that Best buy also had a deal for the PL-5 for 500.00. That's a 100.00 off the original price.
Regarding that, the art test requires a complete charactar rigged with textures and all, is that usually the case? it sounds like i'm delivering a complete char free of charge, and then they'll see if they want to continue with me or not. but they'll still get a free char out of it...
Ahhh
work has been so busy! but hopefully this weekend I can continue
on. For now, here is the colour I'm going for~ Might need to do some concept designs because I'm not sure where I'm going with her D:
Tris are fine, just don't go crazy I suppose. The game engine triangulates your mesh any way in the end. Dont let the edge loop continue all the way up and around end it much sooner, somewhere logical.
Update; now they are in the same scene. Looks like I need to add a bit more rough geometry to the top part. Also, I should really start to tackle all the other big aesthetics and then continue with the throne and smaller props. Cheers
Here's my latest particle effects package. I'm continuing to make these while I'm working on my pastel caves project. [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-mvQo0UAmo"]Vectormania 3 - Unity Asset Package - YouTube[/ame]
A few more images as I begin to wrap up for now... This was all created for a kind of short event, but I plan on continuing to expand this set of assets so I can do some more advanced level building in UE4 later on.
Version 2 is ready. Has y-toggling, backdrop detection, and significant refinement of the algorithm. Grab it from www.zarria.net, and please continue to give suggestions. DMC has plenty of room to grow yet. Here's what V2 does with your brain:
Yeah that's a bummer. A good workaround if you want to continue and do so by hand is (assuming you're using max) to use the Object Painter script by Neil Blevins. Then attach them all and bring it in as a static mesh. http://www.neilblevins.com/soulburnscripts/soulburnscripts.htm
