I should also mention the reason I am asking this. I am modeling to get better at the most effective rate possible, not just for fun anymore. When I model for fun I end up spending months on a single project and i don't really get better. The hangout group can attest to this. -

In all seriousness, I hope somehow the theme breaks the community into 2 sides, this way we can somehow maintain some level of "sides" that was so much fun in prior competitions (all in the spirit of fun of course). Really liked the polycount "civil war" theme. Green or black sorta deal. Choose a side, go to war. -

aahahh that look fun, I like the double chainsaw shit, Hope its fun. I have to say that Chuck is ass ugly, The face, like marine said, is Realy sucky for a Main character, Ordinary, boring too, I really prefer the blond dude face shown in screenshot before. Thats a shame! hope they fix it! -

For some reason I got all nostalgic about Ultima VI, Space Hulk and other games of that era, so I decided to have a little fun with super low-res painting. These are really quick studies, no more than 20 minutes each, done in photoshop at a height of about 400 pixels. Loads of fun on this one. -

nice to see you back bronco- and balls texturing is just as fun as you make it, make sommit more interesting and the texturing will be more-so. not another gun type rant ;-) but i agree that the most fun is in the shaders but OH do they still rely on those texturing skills, and those oldskool skills still show through -
Re: Bamboo multitouch pen tablet?
I want to know if the touch ability's would be good enough to replace the need for the buttons. I keep looking at the bamboo fun ($200) and the Intuos4 med ($350). I'm unsure what to get for home... Correction the bamboo still has 4 user defined buttons. I think i'll give the bamboo fun a go. -

play it a decent amount, going the the Grand Prix in London in February :3 I would recommend it solely for the killer art some of the cards have, lots of inspiration there! also the lore and game mechanics are quite fun. I think the game is much more fun to play IRL with the physical cards but the PC games are rad also
