This is developing really nicely. The brachio radialis coming from the thumb side of the wrist and wrapping towards the tricep may need a little work. I've done a paintover as I'd find it hard to describe. Forearms are hard to work on. Remember each muscle must start and end somewhere. It's almost worth plotting colours…
I was focusing more on Deus Ex than Pi haha. The project brief was to make an inventors lab, themed around a central prop, so it was kinda hard to get both Deus Ex AND Pi both in there. I wanted a big fat computer, but I had to explain why it was an inventors lab, so Pi's plot came to mind. :P It's more like Deus Ex meets…
If Kevin can gain 100 pounds of muscle then sure! If not then i'm sure there are a few large Scandinavian actors that could play the part of thor. The guy from gladiator comes to mind, Ralf Moeller i bet he would love to play that part. As for WWE "actors" yeah no thanks. BTW the ten rings in shield references in ironman…
The pants seem to sorta bag up for no reason. Have you tried bringing it down to the sole of the foot, so only the front is exposed? The sculpting is magnificent, that just really lept out at me though. It also looks like you could add a bit of wind deformity to the pants, like in the cape/scarf. When did you start…
Also rendering a UV template or mask or using RTT never is accurate because it plots coordinates (Floating numbers with a high precision) to pixel units of the texture size. So things can shift in the Viewport or rendering just because of that. On some recent experiments I tried to snap UV coordinates to in between pixels…
http://www.examiner.com/x-21670-Houston-Space-News-Examiner~y2009m9d14-Defying-Gravity-TV-series-cancelled Yeah, cancelled. I really couldn't get into the first episode I saw. I saw it for the first time a week or two ago. I don't know how long it's been on, but really felt like a soap opera in space, as it's been…
I am planing a complete reboot of my webcomic early next year with a linear comic storyline with recurring characters. I am working on a plot / script and also concepts of characters. so i figured i would post some of the concepts here and get thoughts first up is Muffins, a secondary character he is a cat thats been…
I'm surprised there's not a thread on this already. Anyone else watching The Legend of Korra? The first season just ended and I think it was quite good, I liked it even better than 'Avatar: The last Airbender". With the last airbender I felt I had to force myself to watch it and get past some childish humor and such for…
HIi! I went back to the models and they had some proportion issues as well as snapping problems. So I got a human reference and searched about the real-life sizes of streets, balconies and such. I also separated the balcony into modular pieces to have better control on it's size depending on how I wanna use it. Later I…
I feel this comment deep in my soul. Add Jira and Git to the pile and my effigy is nearly complete. I really like 3dsmax for modeling and environment art. Splines and the modifier stack are fuckin amazing but I'm saddened that UV editor is still modifier dependent. It's 2020... come on Autodesk. Also I would rather slowly…
