This screams the 3d motive tutorial its good to get practice with but i would be hesitant to put in portfolio since it looks like you just copied the tutorial. Good execution tho

To my knowledge there is only one tutorial for XSI on how to get your character wieghted to the rig that comes with hl2. [edit] Just found it. Pretty good tutorial for XSI by Dominic Laflamme.

This is a tutorial that shows the new mudbox feature and covers maya side workflow. The same applies for 3dsmax and softimage i assume ofc without the maya part :) You most probably need to be an area member to watch this. http://area.autodesk.com/tutorials/maya_2011_rig_to_mudbox_2011_joints
@Nuclear angel: I've been coding before in unity before. So I recomend just diving in to the beginner tutorial and checking up their collection, but I used this tutorial to make Last Invader. :)
