OK I am back with a workaround: STEP 7: since we have already split the vertices, we can separate the mesh faces we want to fix, align their vertex normal to face normal, then join them back. Existing normal won't change as Blender know they are different vertices. Not convenient but at least the job is done.
Was just thinking about this app again, and another suggestion came to mind for pushing that retro 3D look: CRT shader support. Emulators use them all the time, and some have gotten really advanced atp: http://libretro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3998&page=7&p=29756&viewfull=1#post29756
I never work at home, not even on personal stuff really. I find I need something else to balance my life, like going out, or DJ'ing and stuff like that. I find 7-8 hours a day is the most i can really take doing 3d before getting burned out.
I'll be at the Made in MA party thing, from like 7:30 or so until I get bored. http://paxparty2013.eventbrite.com/event/5215156674 I'd be up for checking out the Harpoon Brewery after. 8 or 9pm something like that. Got a car, if anyone needs a ride. Shoot me a text, or call, 9784950475.

Moved house and starting to settle in now that my computers setup again. I've been doing the figure drawing Challenge ( http://www.figuredrawingchallenge.com/ ) this month and catching up. nah it's an awesome feature adobe developers thought they would add to photoshop cs2 and later. What I do is record and action that saves a file as a copy then opens that copy and save it as the desired file name then closes the copy. This mimics how photoshop 7 and earlier used to save things. You can also use vtools for…
