EricV: even though we don't live far from each other ( i could meet him every day by accident just 5min from home) i've never met him and only worked from his concepts supplied by bluebyte, strange digital world :P thank you very much guys :)
Totally Do we really need another thread about wether someone should be playing games after work? I like to fish on the weekend, but I could be making more digital art. maybe I should make a thread about the value of catching fish vs working like a single minded, boring sod
Here's a link that you might find helpful as you work on this project. http://www.scott-eaton.com/2007/the-archer He creates some really convincing digital sculptures in Zbrush, and has an emphasis on how the skin contorts over muscles as opposed to popping and bulging every muscle, which a considerable amount of 3D…
If you're a student and only using this for educational purposes then I would suggest just using a student license from autodesk, all of their programs are available for free to students, you just need to specify your school. Sculptris is a useful intro to digital sculpting and nice for sketching but it is too limited in…

It does have a small amount of paid tutorials in the store but the amount of…
I'd rather have a company offer a free game on their digital platform to get me to use it rather than force me to use it because a game I already paid for won't launch without it. Even if Origin turns out to be a frustrating waste of time, at the very least EA was nice about getting me to use it.
Scotts courses are a great source of knowledge. I just finished his Anatomy for Artists course and I honestly know a lot more than before. Every lesson is thorough. I was just about to start his Digital Sculpture class, but decided to go for classical sculpting atm, but I am sure I'll come back to it.
Here's a new personal character that I completed in my off time. This particular character was largely inspired by the fantastic character designs featured in the Digital Extremes game called Warframe. The design of the character outfits in that game appeal to me as an artist, and so I couldn't wait to create something…
