Color choices are very appealing, these are going to look great in game. Some of the main scratches on the first piece, near the middle, felt a little off to me.; they look too deliberate, if that makes sense. The color layer is a little soft, but you've already mentioned that. Keep it up! -

also I finally got soft light card sources to work in 3d max mental ray and I miss using these things, still not nice as the ones in vray but these come pretty close. The teapot is something I have been working on and always go back to. -

Gotta go with "skate" shoes for comfortable walking, they're all pillowy and soft, and they last forever. Vans, etnies, etc. Pay 70 bucks and you'll have em forever. I agree with having different shoes for running/going to the gym, and every day wear. -

Wow you did a 180 on the texturing process. This looks great. I like your color choices and soft painting. Nice job! In a real time environment I think a NM painted in the right style is a good idea though. Not that this character is going into unreal or anything ... -

Yeah, normal map looks a bit wack tbh. What program are you using? Soft/hard edges on the low poly? If you are using modo for normal map tracing you could try xNormal. There is more to the strange results than just resolution imho. -

refined it a little bit, kind of looks like a sumo lol with the dam standard brush do you use it with an alpha? when i first downloaded it and everything it has like a soft dot alpha but i noticed it doesn't seem that good for really cutting into the mesh -

Use the skin modifier, and preserve, they work perfect, I use them all the time. It helps to turn on soft select when making the preserve group in cloth. You will want to reset the transform and scale (or reset Xform) before doing any skinning, simulations or animation. -

big ole seam running around his face that needs fixing. texture looks a bit odd with all the shading done in a soft gray - almost looks like one of them cavity renders model looks good. texture just needs a few tweaks -

Thank you for the suggestions. I really have to study more on surface imperfections. The lightning I tried to replicate the position IRL, but you are right and I completely missed that all the shadows are very soft without a single sharp one. I'll have to toy around with them. Thanks again!
