Awesome stuff... Bookmarked for reference! BUT... Whats up with the mountain and water background?? http://www.polygoo.com/port/ak94.html i would remove those images. Also remove the grid in this image. http://www.polygoo.com/port/sv45.html Try and get the same images but with different guns for all your weapon shots. Try…
Very very nice work, fantastic. The layout is nice and simple... if it was up to me though, I would like it so maybe if I click on the main image it goes to the next one... not clicking on the separate images at the bottom which opens up the image in the same window (maybe make it a separate window)... I've never like…
after my first post problems with image uploads; hope the images appear now, as have made some changes following (much appreciated) advice from kind users. once it is given the OK, am gonna begin hair, body and try to stylize it as a game character (slightly enlarged eyes, ears?) Current polycount: 812. hope to complete…
Hey Guys, Im a 3D artist with an embarrassingly weak understanding of rigging and I wanted to get some ideas regarding a new project. So how would you go about rigging the image below so that it will have a control to expand and contract with the image being its most expanded state. Very similar to a Hoberman sphere when…
They're not the same thing Max's material editor sets up shaders for rendering Designer is a very powerful image compositor and procedural image generator Max's material editor can do some of the things designer can do but it's like comparing a calculator to a supercomputer as far as image compositing goes Designer cannot…
Super honored to have one of my images on the banner for Polycount. This image in particular was one of those that came together really easily without much iteration and back and forth. That being said I do have progress shots that go through the major milestones of the image as I painted it. Thanks for viewing and if you…
Its a good start but I think you could take more interesting screenshots than just orthographic side, top etc  The first image and the last image are the two that are interesting to look at, side-on can be good if you have a reference image that you compare it to. Just keep at it, I think you can make this into a…
Hey thanks a lot, yeah might still work on the stock, but for now I think I don't want to put more time on this ak and start something new. To embed images on the site you have to upload ur image to imgur, right click the image and open it in a new tab, copy the link and paste it in this little box when making a new post.
That 2nd image there isn't Zbrush at all, as far as I can tell. That's all modelled in 3ds max. The 1st image certainly doesn't have any perfectly 90 degree angles - most of what you see can be done using tools like Lazy Mouse (smooths the brush to make it more regular) or custom Alpha masks (square sided images).
Clockwork - Oh wow, it sounds awesome. Last I used it we were just feeding it models and it was placing them rather gingerly. Can I see some example's of tree's you've just? Please supply some image links! (Please, though, I ask you don't post the image itself using the image button. Thank you!)
