3dmaxter, you issue is 90% the very low amount of ram on your computer. You probably have windows 7 and that also uses up 50-70% of your existing ram. I know how hard it can be to fit in time to do an art test (can take like 50 hours). In my experience if the concept is particularly detailed don't make every little thing in the scene and end up with mediocre quality assets. Rather make most of the concept to a very high quality. Dont sacrifice that quality for quantity.… -

Another good practice is when making your explosion morph map, switch to world action center with fixed grid snapping and some sensible/memorable increment like 50 or 100. Yeah, you don't have as much mirrored as you could on your trailer, or on the chest, usually when anyone makes anything thats symmetrical like these two models, they model it using symmetry then they unwrap only one half of it, and then they just mirror it to the other side, if you unwrap before you mirror then the UVs… -
