thanks for the comments. Shortly after posting this and taking a short break i looked at it again and realised, yes, the arms are far too long. i modelled them horizontal and rotated them down at the very end, normall i would rotate them down straight away or model them at 45deg. in the first place, so i didnt notice the… -

When I started working as a junior modeler my base salary was 32000 per year plus bonus. That was 5 years ago so I would imagine the junior artist position has a higher salary now? I've met junior artists who make between 32000 to 45000 no previous experience in games. -

Windows Vista RC1 installed in about an hour with a fresh install on my laptop. It recommended me to install Vista Home Basic. Thanks for that. Always wondered about that. No wonder it takes me so many verts to get head/faces the right way. My heads weigh in between 450 to 500 tris. That's mostly to get things lit correctly. -
