On the Panel menu, choose Panel > Saved Layouts > Four View. You can always change the view pressing and holding the Space Bar Clicking and holding on Maya (the center item) and hence, choosing the view you want.
Yes, it's similar to running a flatten mapping on hard-surface and then stitching back together. But, the days of the old 'photoshop' layout that OP posted should be behind us now. It was always a bitch to minimise distortion on areas like the nose.
Sorry I meant your UV shells. I assume you are mirroring them in the final layout considering your screenshots but you should avoid baking with overlapping UV shells by offsetting them before the process.
very nice work. i like your layout. how there is hardly ANY text. just pictures. though, personally, id throw the guns at the bottom, just above the fire hydrant.. they arent as impressive as that hover craft
This is much better presentation wise. A wireframe would be nice as well but from this I would say you could work on your UV layouts to better maximize on the space. maybe have a look at mirroring some of the space.
"where's the netherdrake?" u gota earn a shitload of gold for that, then u can fly to the other persons base =) lookn hot dom! u always were good at map layout ect ect. keep it goin homie.
really cool start, whats going on with that material between the knights legs? looks like it needs a different uv layout or some dynamic solution to make it look like chainmail as its just stretched like crazy
the wordpress popup preview of the next page (when I mouse over a thumbnail) is annoying, but the overal layout & content is good. Resume is good, but you should provide links to a PDF & a DOC version of it. Good stuff man.
This is why there are rules, one person does it wrong and then others start lol. More on topic though. Some nice work on there but the layout does't encourage me to click around and explore. I hate tiny little thumbnails.
I'd try googling for the posters of the car it's based on or dig up old sales brochure if you can, they tend to have the layout schematics. Try smcars.com, they have a ton of blueprints too compared to most other sites.
