Edits from my previous sculpt of Rihanna- A friend of mine approached me for the sculpt to test her 3D printer. I decided to touch it up a little before handing it over :D I'll post the 3d print once it's done too!
Ha ha, after all that work, I finally printed out the sandbag halves, and they were as smooth as a baby's arse--no fabric texture to be seen. Guess I have to try exaggerating the displacement effect and hope my printer's up to the task.
a common way of calibrating monitors is to print a image off with a good quality photo printer and open the same image on the monitor and play with the hue, contrast and brightness until they match. there are also devices that do pretty much the same in a more accurate manner
They're pretty all right depending on what you're printing. The ZCorp printers don't handle detail very well, if you're thinking of printing statues. I haven't had anything from them personally, but I know some people that have.
28.. and it took the printer about 20 min to do each one! haha. its pretty crazy. lots of email. a lot of people are saying i should sell it or put up ads. I'm considering just putting the files up for free.

I made a printer friendly UDK hotkey chart because I couldn't seem to find one online. I narrowed it down to 3 pages so you can tack it on your wall for quick reference. The hot key info was copied from http://blog.tiaan.com/. You can download it here.
Well yeah thats like ThE one famous hack :P Good to hear you found out about it! Also make a dummy printer set as default, instead of the network one you might be using. It will make file opening like 5 times faster.
Got the time last couple of days to work on this some more. Gonna make an old printer and some random paper stuffs on the floor here and there. Any advice on how to pimp this some more is appreciated :) Really want to finish this over the next 2 weeks
Thanks! Yeah I watched a lot of Futurama while working on this project. They could be 3D printed but I cant due to a lack of access to a 3D printer, and if you also mean to let other people have them, copyright would prevent that I think.
