I used Modo for a project of mine:https://www.behance.net/gallery/7223049/Canon-A1. I thought I could use another modeling package some day and modo's UI looked friendly and very easy on the eyes. Getting around the tools is a bit weird as modo breaks its own set of rules sometimes but it wasn't a major issue. However,…
Mrskullface: The satellite soda rules post sounds amazing. I should start posting art over there. Thread: IMO, The macho toughguy ruff critz attitude is toxic. It also promotes a very technician minded attitude -- that there are mechanical, cut and dry solutions to an individual artist's problems, and that they have made a…
Just finished Lady Vengeance. That was a damn good movie. I loved the imagination showed in a lot of the editing, and strange ideas like the dog with the man head in that portable kennel thing (although the dog with the humanoid head was done ages ago in the Invasion of the Body Snatchers remake, which btw, creeped me…
Did these for a friend, but I put them on my site so I can easier explain to friends what I do. I usually knock a project like this off in 20 minutes. My highest is 18 business cards in one shift. These are just the jpegs, we keep the native 600 dpi Photoshop file(s). Main logo: Letterhead: Front of BCD: Back of BCD

Bad tools are bad, and Max hasn't changed its baking workflows for.. uhh as long as I can remember. Also it's slow to bake; any GPU-accelerated baker nullifies the 'adjust and rebake' problem because it can bake a non-AA'd 2k in like a second.
contemporary Christian music is usually pretty bad; cotemporary Christian music parodies represent some sort of unspeakable vortex... i had to close the window after 5 seconds, cause i knew it was going to be bad. just does Christianity no good service at all.

When applying complex shaders to large assets, especially with high polygon counts, the performance drops significantly. I’ve tried optimizing the shaders by reducing texture…
Sorry folks. I forgot to post link to the April's . My bad. My bad. @Monophobe The newer one looks way better man. I'd give her a bit more cheekbones and her forehead appears too flattened to me.
As far as the crime rate is concerned, I feel it's not all that bad after reading some of the posts here. Like jfeez has mentioned earlier, I guess I'll have to just avoid the bad areas & I should be fine. :D
