Update on Kobe's body. Just finished early stage of clothing and added a pair of Air Jordan 8 on his feet. Rather than going for fully realistic clothes I modified it a bit to be easier to print later. Stay tuned! www.poligone.art

Hi, this is for Retrogasm Art Competition (https://www.facebook.com/groups/RetrogasmArtCompetition/), I will be working on Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy 8 and will be posting my progress here. This is what I did yesterday, hopefully today I will be able to work on it more.
I'm so god damn sick of scrolling through the entire list of subtools to find a set of eyes or buttons. Is there a way to display ALL subtools in the scene or something like a tearoff? Only showing 8 subtools at a time is driving me nuts.
Chase I max my ones on around 1-4 no more But from my experience you can do up to 8 easy and for a 8k texture map that is HUGE! even for crysis engine :)
Arch-Viz is a decent alternative, and it was good to me for the 7-8 years I was in it. It's not without it's problems though; out-sourcing, lack of work, 3d being accessible to architects, "Sketchup is good enough", etc.
I still regulary listen to the the final fantasy sound tracks espically Final Fantasy 8 there is some epic music in that game! [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4jvol20r6Y&feature=related[/ame]
I found this rig here in the give away section and I had some fun with it Hope you guys like it , and fell free to send me some feedback 8) https://vimeo.com/145538623
Day 8, Rig is complete, need to polish the skin and texture a bit, then onto the ground and the spell... (this is a quick render in max just to see if the pose work, don't mind the camera angle and the culling problem)
My 9800gtx handles everything just fine, no need to upgrade that. Wondering when we'll be seeing 6 core intel cpus for decent prices though (or 8 core whenever those come out).
