I'm slowly continue working on my steampunk workshop, and while there is nothing significant to show yet (I've been doing mostly UV mapping, figuring out things), I did a small shield this morning for my 'shop' at 3DOcean.
Hey guys, I fixed the thumbnails so its easier to see and also remove the WiP section from the site. Thanks for the feedback I'll continue working and upload as I finish them~ They are either rendered out in UDK or Marmoset.
we r just commenting on how u type like this. sry to be such a dick about it, but its not that hrd to just type 10 xtra letters so that people can read som normal english. newayz continue with the main topic.
Added a moss component to the stone and rock materials and painted some in, i'll probably continually refine the moss placement as i work on the scene. I also added some volumetrics to add localized fog to areas of the background and some in the ruins.
Yeah I haven't played much but I've given them all a go, I think Sanctum and Gemini Rue were just really good, I haven't played any that I'd want to continue playing for a long period.
Alright... Maya continue to crash all the previous week-end.... I am probably the only guy having this error on the world... Google is empty with a 0x2fc27a8 research. Then I formatted and installed Windows 7-64 yesterday and Maya is healthy!
Continued working on this, did some more work on the railing/walkway and added some more details to the metal parts. I'm almost ready to start on some of the smaller details in the scene. Thanks for having a look. Any C&C is welcome.
Updates! Continued the painting. Progress can be seen below. This is primarily a painting and much less a matte painting, the only photo resources I used were a photo of a brickwall that I took long ago and a metal surface, rest was painted.
It bothers me how the paint chips on the panel arent really localized. You can see peel lines travel over the bumps in the panel, I feel like they wouldnt continue like that since it's over a non flat surface.
Had another crack at Marvelous Designer tonight. I'm sure someone who knows what they're doing could match the cape concept perfectly just in MD, but as it is I'm happy taking this as my base to continue sculpting on in ZB.
