roman soldier
*changed the html* hello, I'm a bit new to posting here. I'm working on a 3D Roman soldier for a friend's game. Let me know if I'm doing something horribly wrong. he's meant to be wearing armor like this even though this isn't the picture i was working from. :) -

That's what I was trying to explain. Ten characters with dozens of hats and armor pieces all skinned to one skeleton. If they had wings, I just add those bones in but give them zero influence on meshes that got no wings. -

With spec. Made the metal pop a bit better, but its not fantastic. :( Suggestions? Also dirtied him up a bit, and added chafe where armor meets skin..definitely helped ,ake such an extreme costume seem more possible. -

Great work, only thing that stood out to me is that the "slats" on the shoulder armor look like wood, but are painted gold. Beyond that perceived consistency issue, it's fantastic work. I Like the character and the execution is wonderful, nice job! -

You should go back through and rework the hard surface. its pretty lumpy in spots and a lot of the armor has no thickness. If this is the high poly model youre not done yet, you can still push it a lot more -

Looking good so far. One thing that I find though is that the upper body may be a bit vertically squished but that could just be me. Are you going to include that armor plating from the concept? Regardless keep it up. -

Hmm, I may be able to use some of RoboCop's features for the new concept. I still want to try to create a cyborg police officer, but I'm sure I can come up with ideas from RoboCop's armor. -

Cool character, it's a fun design. The helmet reminds me of Master Chief. I'd like to see some more material differences. Right now it looks like the armor and fabric have very similar spec/gloss properties. -

15 books about owls duking it out?! How do they make face armor? (Why don't they make a Redwall movie? Based on the actual book Redwall, not a random one in the series, most of which are boring. Or Deptford Mice)
