Are you sure? the combined light of both images should be nearly exactly the same as bottom. It has to be seen straight on though, or the result of only seeing one of the intended images will make it look less bright. Images are easier for the viewer to browse through at their own pace, with a video you are setting the pace. I've seen people's portfolios reviewed before, usually the art director just saves all the images into a folder so they can breeze through the images with windows previewer (or a similar program). A few quick things about the site itself: 1) Use your real name. 2) Brand your images. Put your name/website on each one. 3) Allow people to download your images. If someone is lookingat something they like, make it as easy as possible for them to save the image AND know where it came from. -

I know that in commercial photography it depends on how the building is featured in the image. If the empire state building is functionally/conceptually an important part of the image you need to get rights to use it. However, you can make an image that includes the the empire state building if it is trivial in the photo.… -

Before I clicked the images, I was put off by the huge file sizes. Even though we're past 1999 internet speeds, you could definitely shrink those images down without any loss in quality. Especially since you have photoshop, you could save images using jpegs at hi quality. -

If an image has outstandind perspective, but the focus of the image is simply the object or character in the center of the screen in a boring pose, then it's more like draftsmanship. Photobucket is also a good image hosting site...and when you are posting the images just right click on the uploaded image and go to properties...highlight the hyperlink till the jpg extension and then just paste it in between [img][/img] and it should work. Press preview if you are not sure. I use photobucket as it loads…
