My girlfriend just said that the last one would make for an awesome door knocker, just put a big ring through his nose that would hit his chin. They all look brilliant mate :D
Software in the title please. Looks like 3ds Max? Editable Poly has certain topology rules. Should be something about this in the help file. Delete the end cap. Move the outer ring further. Then cap each.
In Toolbag 2, when you make a transparent material, you can add a secondary reflection. In the drop down for that property, select "newtons rings" and just play with the sliders until you get something you like. :)
Quick update making my biker guy , getting some patches onto the jacket and some rings on the hands , Still havent touched the boots but I will do soon! C&C Please guys I need it!
@ rion -- thank you, that reference is helpful. Had some free time, so I made up her camera bag. The shoulder strap connects from the D ring to the right side clip. Rendered in Marmoset.
sweet i think it would look cool if he's deactivated hving some large chains from the ceiling coming down and hooking into rings on his shoulder or top of his head to help hold him upright
The surface needs to twist as it goes from one edge across to the other. I would use a Twist modifier, with a Volume Select below it encompassing those two edges. Then I could add rings as needed to get the deformation looking smooth.
I have mine set to CTRL+Q (and W for Ring) and it works without problems...do you, by any chance, have 'Keyboard Shortcut Override Toggle' on? If so, your hotkey might work in editable Poly, but not in the edit Poly Modifier.
Make another bake without cage. That should give you a clean bake for the small rings on top. Cut them out in photoshop and combine with your cage bake normal. Don't know if ther's a better method but that's what i do.
The sculpt looks a bit doughy, for example the knurling looks way too soft, and the wood texture you're using isn't good it's too noisy and has little to no wood characteristics, you want something where the age rings of the wood shows.
