Mop - Thanks for the Crit bro. Went and redid the lid with a normal map. One of the reasons my renders were looking blurry was I had filtering on. Turned that off and everything is looking crisper. Here is the layout.
yeah, I have to fix that stuff still. i have only worked on it for a few hours. That will be the final stuff to do, right now im just getting the layout set up. Thank you for the advice
good layout, you just need to keep working on your art. You have some good ideas, but need to work on anatomy & practice getting your ideas across better. Site's fine though.
Yeah its good for getting the general layout. It works well if you take your figure down to the lowest sub D level, that is if it isn't a dynamesh base. BTW I meant bend the arms a bit at the elbow. Cheers
@EarthQuake, Was baked in marmoset, it was also triangulated befor exporting. I kept testing it after the post, for some weird reason a different uv layout in a new marmoset scene and the seam is almost gone, still there, but much harder to see it.
It could be the angle on your high poly is too sharp? (this is a wild guess since baking normals still gives me sass on a regular basis) Can we see your low poly mesh and your UV layout?
man that's really dope love how the cloth layout its working on lower and torso section! cant wait to see it finished! the only thing i would say is that i preferred the old face but its personal preference.
Thanks Gerasimimumu! - I have replaced the texture with something more fitting and I am planning on revamping the entire scene soon enough. I'm getting tired of working on it and I need a change in it's layout :p Thanks for the comment!
thanks man, yeah i'm gonna jump hosting site, carbon isn't got give me the layout i want. gotta finish my current model first, i'll have shots of that on here for crits soon
Got some feedback on my portfolio. Been making improvements based on the feedback. Improving the layout and lighting overall. These wall pieces are kind of a separate project but I wanted to test them out without building a new scene.
