Cool, I agree with the points already made - I think if you posed up the highpoly ZBrush sculpt to match some of these poses then it'd make an awesome 3D print! I love the style.
Decided to try a highpoly version and normal map this girl... just roughing in the big shapes at the moment, gonna split off and optimise the mesh later, this was pretty much just bevelling edges from the lowpoly
im just using unreal for a render, its one of 3 scenes i'm adding to add to a portfolio. theres more detail want to add in buttons and things for a highpoly then take it down for the real mesh.
Hello my friends i have a question which workflow is better for creating the korryHubbel's piece. I'm confused. creating a highpoly and bake it or low poly modeling (I am sorry to ask this question)
Then your pretty much stuck with what your getting. AO maps aren't magic, they are totally dependant on the mesh they are baked from. You're only option is to make a highpoly or start painting the detail by hand.
As the week nears its end so does the completion of the Bad Ju Ju Highpoly :) Hopefully tomorrow we will see her finished :) anyway let me know what you guys think :)
Yeah i have not worked on the textures. Just blocked it out. Highpoly, yeah i gues that would be allot nicer. dont know with a very un uniqe uv spaces that i have now.
if you are using max, get gomax from the zbc boards. it can export the highpoly with the polypaint directly into max. if you have a weaker machine you should go with guv tiles and baking that though.
Hello guys! Thanks a lot for the comments :) :):) Here the Character I will put in the Cryostasis. this is the Highpoly. I wanted to buy a scan, then I prefer to use an old character I did and adapt it. Cheers. Lucas
Hey, some of the edges might be a little too harsh on the highpoly to bake as well as you would like. Maybe relax the edge control on them a little bit. Nice model apart from that though :)
