I don't think that's actually right, or at least not strictly upheld. A friend of mine studied masters in creative writing and got a Visa to work as a compositor in the UK.
Good listen. I wish they had more technical stuff in the video, but it was a great look at how the project came to be and their goals and creative vision. Thanks for the link!
I'm not saying it isn't important or isn't interesting, but viewing it creatively it is very limited. There are not a lot of ideas floating around beyond religious idolatry and pure technique.
CC - Creative Commons, if wholly your own original work otherwise if an existing commercial product/item then definitly seek the manufacturer's permission or copyright holder.
