This sounds like similar threads where peoples scenes are corrupted. You should see some errors when you open the scene. Bad scenes can be repaired if you were saving as .ma, or have a previous version you can pull from.
not sure really, just trying to keep them as low as possible. most of the polys are in the wheels, so I might have to bake most of the details, just keep the silhouette intact. not sure wheter to bake the bevels in , but I am sure there will be baking issues and a lot of hassle to make them look good the original scene was…
thanks again to everyone that commented! Deadline is passed and it's the scene is out! Thanks again for the comments and crits. I learned a TON from this scene and will be applying what I learned onto my next couple scene before graduation! C&C's still welcomed!
This is cause when you use direct X driver and not openGL, to fix it just go to , Preferences--> Viewports ---> click on choose drivers botton then enable Redraw scene on windows expose, for big scenes polygons count, disable it or it will be problem when opening the scene or rotating it...
Coming along nicely! Not about the project, but the presentation: Your HDRI/angle of choice seems pretty evenly lit for many renders, washing out the normals. For the art test I created a small terracotta pot to house foliage in the compound and to be modular to use throughout the…
And another piece of shit I made :D Normal maps only (detail lightning view). Maybe I'll add vegetation later, if the scene will look kinda empty: Friend told me, that this scene looks like scene from Uncharted :D I laughed.
Hey guys, got some new shots from the scene ! The scene is basically finished, but again, any critique is absolutely appreciated. I'm planning to create a little video, then move on to a new scene. Thank you for viewing my work, and I hope you like it !
To be honest if I was to decide to do a site with scenes I would make thumbnails for each scene only. Each scene would have it's own page and that page would contain the textures and props used if the props were cool enough. That's how I would organize it
yeah the Tree of Life scene is a YTMND Skeet Skeet scene just waiting to happen. I loved it visually and really liked the Aztec and astronaut scenes. Everything else was a struggle to get through after a hard days work. Fell asleep 3 times. - BoBo
