yeah, i´ve seen only 80 minutes so far on demand and that was well spend money, it´s a bit like xmas when animationlecture goes beyond f-curves and the it´s more about the "why it was done", thoughtprocesses, etc. I don´t know why but this is rare today, beneath Keith Lango nobody adress such questions. great stuff -

So there is a way to fix this issue. Openngl is working like a champ now for me in 3dcoat. People using maya will also have to get the hotfix 3 or service pack 1 as it fixes some issues with opengl. Anyways, check out this thread over at cgtalk, it will explain everything.… -

Please... NO. Don't get me wrong, Alien films (INCLUDING the one made by Jeunet) is by far my favorite s-f series, but they really ruined the creature "reputation" in the AvP films (doggy, doggy !) and with the current industry attitude with big "past" licence, it will definitly be a crappy over-the-top blockbuster… -

Or, rather than forcing an ortho rotato cam, why not just strip that approach from your workflow. Not the most practical solution? It might give you some peace of mind... If the cam starts straying away from your selection, just hit 'f'. That's all I ever needed to do anyway. From one ex-max user to another. -
how do I model the blade of a sword?
How do you create a blade like this? curves or box modeling? What about the edges? I am thinking about creating a box and just merge the edges and work on the details.. but I once made a knife using CV curves and it did work.. so.. what is the best option?… -
Modular pieces and tileables
Hi So I'm making a set of columns but I am unsure how to approach this as I would like them to be modular and share textures. My current idea was to have 2 sets - A, B and C would share 1 map and D, E and F would share another. The map sizes would be 1024x1024. Would this be efficient? Does anyone have any better… -
