hey guys! finally finished this guy, hope you like him all screengrabbed with xoliul viewport shader (couple of them with the post-shader stuff too, but most aren't) he was inspired by The Dark Tower, although I certainly wouldn't say he is Roland for anyone who read the books... but perhaps there is a little of him in…
support loops. they're the bane of my existence. i pretty much had this guy all blocked in and have spent the better part of my last few work sessions just cutting in edgeloops. been using max a bit too to try out quadchamfer to ease the process. still comin along. mostly small details (and the grip still) to take care of.
comin along man! Cain- and the Michael Jackson Robot from Moon Walker are americas claim to fame in badass mechs creation. :P Sadly I dont think the high poly details are bakeable. I mean you could do it, there's just not enough exaggerated edge beveling going on to read well on a bake. tis gonna make a SWWWEEET print…
Claw on his hand is looking a bit forced, i think some kind of skull gauntlet with horns or long teeth used as a claw may gel with the rest of him more. Beard is looking better, but i think you could add some braids to the back of his hair to bring some consistency to the hair detailing. Really comin' along though!
Hello all! I decided to write about Veigar, as he is one of my favorite champions, and I was curious to how he became essentially who he is, the strongest and most feared sorcerer of Valoran, the Cosmic Corrupter. It's the first version, it needs to be polished and grammar needs to be checked again. I will be working on…
Another Higher Being! Centipedes should have been more prominent in Hollow Knight. I Imagine you'd do some type of sacred cosmic quest for her, her being secluded similar to the Lady in White, but with a hidden palace with servants and the like. I would LOVE if there were more active Higher Beings in the game, ones to…
Hey Man, It really is good to see you posting up some new work. Your warrior sculpt is one of your best works to date man. It's really great to see how far you have come. I think the plane studies are a great idea, and they seem like a lot of fun to do too. Keep the fire comin! -J
Damn man, that high poly is looking really good. I was gonna say it looks like the edges around your Acog Scope may be a bit too soft, but I looked up some reference and yours is basically dead on. I shut myself up. Can't wait to see some updates on this man, comin along nicely so far
Make sure you have equal sized texels over the whole model, because right now you have about 7 times higher pixel density on the round/conical shape as on the flat surroundings. You can use this image: To compare relative texel sizes. Just make sure all light and dark checkerboard squares are roughly the same size.
She's so gross >.< but it's great :D I think the reason it's looking bare is cause you don't have any skin pore details. Adding things like zits or warts or bubbly type things and large pores all over could help a lot. Also the stretch marks could be more obvious and inconsistent I think. It's comin along pretty well…
