Here is mine: www.veezen.pl I'm happy with that result at this moment, I like have my props in categories. Good thing is that this page fits perfect for smartphones and tablets (auto-arrange grid). Everything coded by me (Notepad++), it took few days. If you have any questions you can ask me any time ;) P.S Logo is on left…
It's been months, but I managed to finish the guitar. Definitely not a small practice project in the end. Here it is. I also rendered a little video of it and put it up on Youtube, convenient redirect link here: http://limeforce.tumblr.com/guitar. Higher res version of the image here. 95% of modeling done in Maya, textures…
Some time ago I had to make objects that were made of "Lego". I used max and rayfire to achieve that. You can look into that if it's not only blender specific. As for texture I used simple plane mapping, so the logo picture I had to put was fine as long as you watch at it (client was ok with some of the brick color shoving…
Hi PCp, Nothing to complain about this time :) but I thought everyone would benefit from this as I was a little bothered by the icon less app, so I converted the 8monkeylabs logo into an icon for marmoset for me and I thought I would share it for those that wanted an icon for marmoset.…
I wouldn't go out of your way to lower the polycount but make sure you are using efficient models at least. Don't have decimated pieces in your meshes...good edge flow should be good enough. I would put engine logo in for sure...I use marmoset on anything I render for my character stuff. Stuff looks pretty good though man.…
ok Late to this. I just watched it a few weeks back after seeing it on instant watch on Netflex... Well I think I've re-watched it about 10 times now. I've worked on a multitude of projects and I am very proud of the work that I and the teams I've worked with have produced, but I have never had a connection to a project…
'PC gamers' who complain about a game performing poorly need to quit acting so elitist and go buy consoles. If you're going to look down on people who play 'kiddy' games because of some weird superiority complex, you need to walk the walk. My PC chewed rage up at a zillion fps on GORGEOUS settings with a shitty, several…
Tidying up of the UV. This includes fixing things that don't project correctly, adding new elements (magazine details, additional shading) as well as fix up the alpha channel to save required details when the weapon is battle scarred. Weapon wear test. Retains the grip and blue lighting. I am happy. I've also worked on a…
yeah make beautiful game art, preferably low poly or 2d game art, and if the studio is small be versatile, often the studios are not very big and need you to help make some special effects or ui or make a logo design. Im not saying you have to have some giant crazy portfolio full of bits and bobs but just mention in your…
@Eric Chadwick I understand the part were you dont have legal rights to copy a design/logo or whatever they have and sell it, what i dont understand its the silhouette part. How do i suppose to model for example a sci-fi weapon but still look real and has silhouette/dimensions from a glock if that is not allowed? Or a…
