Very nice updates Zinco! Your texturing is very good as is your modeling. I have just a couple crits for you. Things I like: - The spotlight on the slippery when wet sign is a nice touch. Before that it was hard to tell what focal point you were going for and now it's much easier to see. - Texturing is solid and on point.…
Just curious are you working from any kind of reference? As far as your retopology goes, you should try out 3ds Max's built in retopology tools. I actually really like it after I learned the shortcut keys. The first part of this tutorial helped me get started. From there I was able to explore and figure out the rest on my…
Hey thanks for responses, Mark Williams Thanks for your suggestion, It has been on my mind for quite a while regarding having a focal point, my original intension was to make the door very interesting but at the moment its basic in silhouette and only using a basic tileable texture thats used everywhere else in the…
I had a skinned character in the scene - and some additional animated rigid hierarchies with some wired ctrl etc..... But it was a pretty simple scene in general, so mabye having multiple skin modifiers in the scene might still be slower Just a hint: When using the stats display turning off all geometry related stats…
You are going in the right direction for your portfolio website, keeping it simple and letting people see your work with ease. I just have a couple of thinks for your work in the future. Remember to make your environments clear with better lighting. For example your Dystopian, is a bit to dark. With the fog you added and…
o wow I hope I didn't start a speedtree vs non speedtree war. That wasn't my intention. To be honest I have no problem modeling out trees by hand. I've done it plenty of times and for various other project. I was only giving speedtree a try because I heard it was a pretty cool program. There are a bunch of games that have…
I talked to an art director whom I have much respect for (Ed at Threewave), and he gave me a bunch more pointers and feedback on the scene. First off I changed the fog from dark red or pale yellow, this really makes the scene a lot more alive I think. It's not drowning in and in blackness. Next I'm gonna add more detail…

I think I might try doing the hitman scene, even if I don't finish it, the practice will be valuable. The scene isn't actually that complicated now that I have looked at it and sorted through what the scene actually has in it.
If it is only having this issue within one scene then try exporting your objects and importing them into a new scene, if you still have the issue then the problem is with the asset most likely. If it does this for every scene, then maybe try a fresh install?
