nice model, but the mesh and poly flow aren''t perfect be cautious with ring loops and i am thinking that you have too much polys on the boots, which could go to the rest of the body.
I live in a large grain farming area. I see lots made of concrete, and lots made of horizontally ribbed metal rings. Very nice work on all of the details. edit: sort of like this
Thanks Jay. Its based off of the concept that is at the beginning of this thread. Big Metal Generator thingy in the middle of the room. There's a mechanical arm that's attached to the top of it, that looks as though it moves around the upper most ring.
I have taken the model into Marvellous designer to build a foundation for the clothing. I am struggling with this quite a lot, particularly with making the cloth sit well with the metal rings and overlapping pieces. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
that's what I'm thinking, don't want to go prematurely blind. Might just wait because I'm expecting the active digitizer market to get more competitive this year, especially if Apple throws their hat in the ring with the ipad pro.
[ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PlBFQhuBEE[/ame] This is an example of a previs. There is also a previs of this scene [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nM7byUTrSZA[/ame] but I can't find it. It was similar quality to the above lord of the rings previs.
This will be my last update before the final! Still have some stuff I want to tend to such as final texture clean up, improving the gold ring base, and creating one more asset that will tie the scene together. Enjoy!
what do your uvs look like? It looks like the outside ring of faces isnt taking any of its own uv space, so thats why it just stretches one pixel out the whole way.
Oh didn't you hear? I am launching a Halo Competitor on the the PS3 in Q3 2012. It will have "skirmish rifles", "designated shooter rifles", and even "plasma projectile launchers". Not sure what to call it yet, something with rings...
