Could use this as a bake mesh, then optimize post-bake if it works. Would retain all UV's if they are clean edge loop additions, very easy just to cut loops if they arent UV border edges
can people who arent in education but dont want to do any commercial work ever buy educational software? I always assumed they expect education requirements to be fullfilled. Really really frustrating :(
its a good start, especially the sword but you arent gonna get her into a game engine easily with that pose. Just get her in a standard pose like a T pose, nice and symmetrical and keep at it.

ah yeah that would be useful not sure if we will afford zbrush as we are doing such lowpoly stuff, its a bit of a wierd way to bake but the results arent too bad from zbrush are they? thanks Rick
but that fading texture effect at the interections is even affecting parts that arent quite intersecting yet. Look towards the middle of the rock in the gif above, it's getting close to the terrain and is starting to fade in some other textures.
Well there probably arent any responses because you didnt give many technical details like what software are you using? Is this realtime or rendered? It wouuld also help to show your scene.
Thanks for the tips. Well They arent really intended for games right now. The last one is a game practice. The others were early models of mine but IM going to reduce the poly count for game compatability.
indian boy, it looks like there arent any shadows or form at all. Actually paint an object in front of you with a single light on it. Dont use some photo that had 15 lights shining down on it.
