How to texture high poly model?
How the process of texturing and rendering high poly models look like? I'm talking about realistic high quality rendered images not game models. For example Geralt in The Witcher 3 game box cover. Is this a Zbrush model textured and rendered? But how to texture without UVmapping? Can someone clarify these things for me? -

You might consider going directly to lowpoly (hard to even call it that anymore) and using a lot of repeating textures/geometry to keep the detail high. I'd suggest looking at CD Project's Witcher 3 armor they have really done a masterful job of mixing detail maps with unique textures and repeating geometry. -

I'd say there are too many great games coming out. TEW, Persona 5 (and the various spinoffs!), Smash 4, Halo 5, Dragon Age, AC:U, Alien, Witcher 3, and many more. My wallet won't be able to survive and it's already time to start picking the ones I'll have to skip/wait on :( -
