Non manifold geometry is where you've got polygons which cause errors with your mesh. Things like internal faces, unattached edges, areas where you've welded vertices together that part of your model has no thickness. Having different shells isn't non manifold geometry and will probably print ok, but in my experience…
Ok after rechecking all my textures, mesh, etc. It seems that the problem was only because at some point I changed my UV position of the part behind my pants :# ... Sorry for wasting your time. And thanks for looking with me what could have gone wrong.
Another update for this week :) All images below are directly from Unreal Engine. Over the last couple of days I’ve been focusing heavily on refining details throughout the environment, especially terrain variation, material breakup, and overall cohesion. I’ve also been adjusting the horizon and surrounding landscape to…
Don't know how many voxel fans there are here on polycount, but maybe there's a few within the low-poly fans. Really low on the radar as a start up company, Reality Foil is hosting a contest using their modeler. The prize is that they make and send the winning robots as 3d Prints, so pretty cute. The modeler is browser…

Really tried to get into 3DCoat and liked some of the paint functions but that interface can be a tough nut to crack, especially for managing a bunch of layers. Wasn't convinced by the UI, seemed very cumbersome for a somewhat complex task. Btw. there's also 3D painting in Toolbag if you have access to that. Me, I'm still…

I'm a 3D character artist by trade, and getting useful feedback on in-progress work has always been harder than it should be. You post a render and it's either "looks sweet" or silence. This forum is one of the few places I've ever gotten real crits, which is part of why I'm posting here. So I built a tool to fix it. The…
