His facial expression is Blue Steel! Your character's lips are puckered at the moment. The edges of the mouth should align with the character's pupils at a neutral position(ideally).
A light that I made to highlight the door a bit more is sort of neutralizing the effect of the exterior light, so I'm messing with that light to regain some of the effect.

The morality system in Bioware games is too black and white, adding a neutral/I don't give a shit option would be great. I loved that in the Witcher games.
