So I rendered a video of the scene finally. Its short but I think captures all of the best elements. Enjoy! [ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvcamFDuyA8[/ame]
Have you scaled the mesh, without going into sub-object mode? If so, reset xforms, or do the whole thing with attaching it to a fresh object, and deleting the element you attach it to.
Rotoscoping is generally tweaking footage frame by frame to make it easier to add in CG elements, or to remove unwanted things for a scene. Animating a character using reference is definately not considered rotoscoping..
Toan from Dark Cloud. ( http://tinyurl.com/6kld4n8 ) I was thinking about something hiphop-ish modern-day, but keeping some of the elements like the Atlamilla and large gloves.
Then i Start working on a composition with the 3d model as a placeholder. As i progress I Begin to integrate all the elements in the Picture. Wuth highlights and light reflection. Comments and Critics are Welcome!
Awesome, coming along nicely and the plan sounds good. I'm sure you know, Red Dead Redemption would be great reference for the human elements you're going to be adding.
@disanski Thanks for your reply! Yea those islands were just the body; with every element in it's tightly packed ^^ Right now I'm adding scales to detail things more.
here is where I got so far with my rendering , still a lot missing elements , I will also do more tweaks for the grooms but it's my progress until now .
Surface mimic is great. I use it all the time. Most people pull elements out of photographs and use some amount of painting over top to get the look they want.
